If Big Mom and Kaido survived… would they continue their alliance after Wano?
Because if their alliance ended with their defeat, then this entire Blackbeard Rocks Pirates Theory loses one of its strongest foundations.

The possibility of a New Rocks Pirates suddenly becomes much more believable.
Would Big Mom and Kaido Continue Their Alliance?
If Big Mom and Kaido survived beneath Mount Fuji, then the next question isn’t whether they’ll return.

Many fans assume the Beast Pirates and Big Mom Pirates simply fell apart after Wano.
But I don’t think that’s where Oda was taking the story.
In fact, I believe their defeat gives them more reason than ever to remain allies.

It’s easy to view the Raid on Onigashima as the end of Big Mom and Kaido’s partnership.
I see it differently.
Luffy was never the true purpose of their alliance.
He was simply the obstacle standing in their way.

They openly declared their intention to obtain the Ancient Weapons, conquer the world, and ultimately claim the One Piece.
Those ambitions didn’t disappear because they lost a single battle.
If they survived, then the dream that united them survives as well.

While hiding in Wano, Caribou overheard Kozuki Sukiyaki reveal one of the world’s greatest secrets.
Pluton rests beneath Wano.
After learning that information, Caribou immediately declared that he intended to share it with “a certain someone.”
At the time, Oda never revealed who that person was.
The answer came during the Egghead Arc.
Caribou reached Hachinosu and begged to join the Blackbeard Pirates, insisting that he possessed information Teach would want to hear.
Viewed on its own, that scene simply explains Caribou’s desire to join Blackbeard.
Viewed alongside everything else, it becomes much more significant.
Caribou doesn’t possess random intelligence.

If Caribou tells Teach where the Ancient Weapon is hidden, Wano immediately becomes one of the most valuable destinations in the world.
Everything Blackbeard has done throughout the series suggests he would never ignore an opportunity like that.

But unlike his father, Blackbeard may also gain access to Pluton.

Joy Boy’s promise endured for centuries before finally resurfacing.
Now Blackbeard may be carrying his father’s ambition into a completely different era.
Not by recreating the original Rocks Pirates…
But by building the New Rocks Pirates.
A crew led by Rocks’ own son.
Strengthened by surviving veterans from the original crew.
Expanded with some of the most dangerous pirates of the current era.
And potentially supported by one of the Ancient Weapons.
That’s no longer just another Emperor’s crew.
It’s the realization of an ambition that began decades before the Great Pirate Era.
One Final Question
If Oda has really been placing all of these pieces on the board…
Then perhaps the biggest mystery isn’t whether Blackbeard will rebuild the Rocks Pirates.
Perhaps it’s whether anyone can stop him.
Because if this alliance ever becomes reality, Luffy won’t simply be facing another Emperor.
He’ll be facing the closest thing the world has ever seen to the return of Rocks D. Xebec.

Right now, we can’t say for certain.
Oda hasn’t confirmed that this is where the story is heading.

Chapter 1107 revealed Blackbeard’s ambition.
“The world.”
Chapter 1154 revealed where that ambition came from.
He’s the son of Rocks D. Xebec.
His recruitment strategy already mirrors the philosophy that made the original Rocks Pirates so infamous.
If Big Mom and Kaido survived Wano, they have every reason to continue rebuilding their alliance.
Caribou possesses the knowledge that can lead Blackbeard to Pluton.
And Pluton gives Blackbeard a compelling reason to travel to the very place where two former Rocks Pirates may still be recovering.
None of those developments depends on the others.
Each follows its own natural progression.
